Plagiarism and AI-Generated Content Policy
The Nature-Nurture Journal of Psychology (NNJP) upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts undergo a plagiarism check using Turnitin software before review. Only original, unpublished work is considered for publication.
Manuscripts exhibiting a similarity index exceeding 15% (excluding references and standard phrases) are returned to authors for correction or rejected.
Following the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines, all sources must be properly cited, and direct quotations should be clearly indicated. Self-plagiarism is strictly prohibited, including the reuse of significant portions of an author’s previously published work.
The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools must be transparently disclosed in the submission. Authors may utilize AI-assisted tools for language polishing or grammar correction, but AI-generated content (text, data, or figures) must be properly acknowledged and must not compromise the originality or ethical standards of the manuscript.
All authors are required to submit a signed declaration confirming that their manuscript is free from plagiarism and that any AI-generated material has been appropriately identified and attributed.
